A Letter From the Editor

A wordy nerd. (Say that five times fast.) I started talking when I was eight months old, and it seems that I haven’t stopped since. However, I decided to put my talking to good use by asking lots and lots of questions.

Born and raised in the rolling hills of Chattanooga, Tennessee, I grew up surrounded by creative inspiration. After discovering my adoration of words and the beauty of language, I moved from the Appalachians to the Alps and learned French.

Since then, I have cultivated a passion for truth-seeking journalism– one that refuses to shy away in the face of controversy. I am invigorated by extraordinary stories from ordinary people, and I am convinced we have the power to change the world with our words.
